Following the announcement of the Call for Cyborgs by DDF director Martijn Paulen, the presentations of Charlotte Bik, director of Arts & Design ARTEZ and Anouk Wipprecht, fashion designer & innovator, alternated with the first cyborgs coming out: Arie Rommers and Nawres Arif. Thanks to René Paré of MAD who made the introduction. Students of the Design Academy presented Tempus, a proposal for personalized synthetic timing. Projects like this one owned by Manuel Pellegrin are exemplary.
With this cyborg competition, we start working with the Dutch Design Foundation and Design Academy Eindhoven. Check out our brochure about cyber competition, jury members and creators. This is in preparation for the All Inclusive Cyborg Catwalk in 2018.
